Timothy J. Maguire

Timothy J. Maguire is currently a postdoctoral researcher for Dr. Casey Godwin and Dr. Craig Stow at University of Michigan Collaborative Institute for Great Lakes Research and NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory.  Formerly a postdoctoral researcher with Dr. Scott Mundle at the Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research. He received has Ph.D. from the Biology Department of Boston University, mentored by Dr. Robinson W. Fulweiler. Tim is exploring the effects of coastal human populations, urban infrastructure, agriculture, and the historic development of cities to understand how biogeochemical cycles of nutrients are changing now and forecasting the future.
